Custard Bread

Yum. I make this in several sittings through the day since the dough needs to rise. I also freeze them for later consumption.

Ingredients

• [Custard] 2 eggs
• 1 egg yolk
• 20g sugar
• 2 tbsp corn starch
• 2 tbsp cake flour or all-purpose flour
• 1 1/4 cup milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 tbsp unsalted butter
• [Dough] 250g (2 cups) bread flour
• 50g (1/3 cup) cake flour
• 6g sugar
• 1 tbsp honey
• 80g (1/3 cup) cold water
• 80g (1/3 cup) cold milk
• 1 egg, whisked
• 1 tsp instant yeast
• 1/2 tsp sea salt
• 2 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into 4-6 small pieces
